The Chief Financial Officer is the top financial position in any organization. His or her role is to carry out the following tasks:
1. Oversees all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Directs financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, VP of sales and department heads.
3. Supervises investment and raising of funds for business.
4. Studies, analyzes and reports on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future growth
The ideal candidate should be,
At least 5 years in a senior role
Should be a Chartered Accountant/Management Accountant
Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.
Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
