Urgently Required Marketing Research Manager for a leading multinational pharmaceutical in Karachi, Pakistan

On behalf of our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical corporation in Karachi, Pakistan is urgently seeking Marketing Research Manager for their organization. This position is responsible for,


1. Co-ordinate and supervise market analytical activities of external market research agencies for existing and upcoming products, including analysis of the effects of promotional campaigns, market share tracking of products in the market, effects of pricing alterations on share, identify market opportunities, conduct market intelligence on competitor products in order to support marketing activities

2. Lead the design, creation and dissemination of periodic customized Sales and Performance reports based on various data bases. Analyze these reports and give advice to the Marketing Director on the development of marketing strategies in order to enhance effectiveness of marketing plans

3. Identify and frame business issues, develop and implement market research plans, and provide actionable insight from research in order to define and value compelling business opportunities and optimize market development plans and resource allocations

4.Proactively identify issues and offer analytical approaches to driving cross band and cross customer performance

5. Recommend and apply appropriate research methodologies that lead to strategic insights which enable Product and Sales teams to develop effective Marketing Strategies

6. Liaise effectively with the New Product Planning function on all marketing research related to products in the pipeline

7. Develop a plan to improve Marketing Research effectiveness at the country level via identification, evaluation, and comparison of new secondary data sources and marketing research vendors


2+ years conducting primary market research and analyzing and deriving insight from quantitative secondary data. Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or related field would be preferred. Kindly send your updated profiles at obaid@therecruiters.com.pk.
